Managing User Privileges

Your original Paysley user account gives you unlimited access to all the tools and features on Paysley, including processing payments, generating reports, and managing all the settings. When you add additional users to your Paysley account you can control the level of access and permissions of every individual user account.

To manage your user profile on Paysley, follow these simple steps:

Log in to your Paysley dashboard at https://merchant.paysley.com/en/home/login.

Step 1: On the left navigation bar, you’ll have a lot of options. Click “User Accounts.” You will be directed to a page where you’ll find the details of each user. On this page, you can see their names, types of accounts, access status, and privileges.
Step 2: On the right-hand side, you’ll see three icons under “Actions.” Click the option in the middle. It allows you to manage the profile of a specific user. Click the icon in the middle. The details of that specific user will pop up.
Step 3: Click on the email address to edit it. You can also edit the “Account Type.” Your options are Accounting, Administrator, Sales, and Developer:
  1. Accounting - The user will have access to all reporting as well as be able to manage Refunds and Reversals.
  2. Administrator - The user has full access to all features and tools, and can change account settings, accept, they cannot change the company contact information & logo.
  3. Developer -  Developer access only grant access to connect and manage integrations.
  4. Sales - You can choose between restricted or full access. Restricted access gives the user only access to their own activity and customers. Full access gives access to all activity and customers. In addition, you’ll also be able to select between privileges such as Refund, Reversal, Use Own Templates, and Manage all Customers.
Once you’ve selected your preferences, you can then click the “Update” icon. Your updates will be successful.
